I am asked this question quite a bit when a person has a concern about a loved one who is losing their memory. Is my love one MENTAL FOGGING, (part of normal aging), or is my love one FORGETTING?, (not part of normal aging)
Here is a basic but very clear chart differentiating the two concerns.
All memory loss is not Alzheimer's disease. I have posted some of my research findings which make a strong case for preventing this disease in women 50-60 years of age at high risk for developing this disease and a framework for slowing down the disease in men or women showing signs of early onset or what I call pre-Alzheimer's disease.
